REACH© Trainers
The SPP team is seeking graduate and professional students interested in becoming volunteer REACH Trainers.
Brief Overview of Role Expectations:
- Attend the annual September REACH Train the Trainer Day (exact date TBA) to become a certified REACH Trainer; an in-person full day training (8am-4pm).
- Attend the annual January all REACH Trainer meeting (exact date TBA); a 1.5-hour virtual meeting.
- Facilitate a minimum of 2 REACH trainings (90-minutes each) per semester as matched by SPP, which may include trainings for audiences both within and outside your work department.
- Attend monthly 45-minute New Trainer Zoom Meetings.
- Must have more than one year with OSU remaining in order to be considered; the role is a minimum of a one-year commitment (2026-2027).

REACH Trainers are advocates for the work of SPP and help further our mission to create a campus culture of care. They facilitate REACH and REACH 2.0. Those who have joined our team receive excellent training and ongoing support to become campus leaders in suicide prevention.
