On International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, commonly referred to as Survivors' Day, individuals affected by suicide come together to find comfort and understanding as they navigate their healing journeys.
In November, OSUSPP hosts a Survivors of Suicide Loss Luminary event in observance of this meaningful day. This gathering offers students the opportunity to come together, foster a sense of community, and share hope. Together, they will learn how to engage in advocacy efforts and work towards fostering a campus culture of care.
Participants in the event can look forward to enjoying hot chocolate and treats, receiving a hope and healing kit, creating personalized remembrance candles, and learning about local resources available for those who have experienced a suicide loss in collaboration with Franklin County LOSS.
