Laura Lewis, MA, LPCC-S

I am dedicated to and passionate about reducing stigma around mental health, reaching underserved populations, and promoting mental health help-seeking.

I am an active member of the Ohio Counseling Association (OCA) and American Counseling Association (ACA). I am past president of the Central Ohio Counseling Association and currently the Chair of OCA Leadership Development Committee. I also serve on the State of Ohio The Suicide Prevention Plan Writing and Implementation Teams. At Ohio State, I enjoy collaborating closely with leadership on mental health task forces and commissions, as well our many partners across who are committed to saving lives and advocating for the work of our program.

My undergraduate studies focused on psychology and theology at Ohio Dominican University. I have a Master of Arts in Counselor Education from the Ohio State University and am a practicing licensed professional clinical counselor and supervisor.

I grew up in Ohio and am a Buckeye for life! I enjoy cooking, running/races, yoga, volleyball, festivals, my adorable cat, and volunteering around Columbus and my neighborhood. You'll also find me cheering on my Buckeyes, Bengals, and Reds!
